- Anthony Forest Products Company is committed to practicing sustainable
forestry on our timberlands in order to meet the needs of today as well
as tomorrow. Good land stewardship involves reforestation, managing,
growing and harvesting trees for useful raw material while conserving
soil, water and air quality, biological diversity, wildlife habitat,
recreation, and aesthetics.
- Our sustainable forestry practices are environmentally, economically,
and socially responsible. We also agree to promote these principles
to other forest landowners to help educate them in sound forest management.
- Anthony Forest Products Company strives to protect our timberlands
from damaging agents such as wildfire, insects, and disease in order
to maintain and improve forest health and productivity.
- Anthony Forest Products Company attempts to identify special sites
on our timberlands so their unique characteristics and aesthetics will
be maintained.
- Anthony Forest Products Company complies, to the best of our knowledge,
with all local, state, and federal laws involving forestry and other
related activities, as well as continue to voluntarily comply with programs
like Best Management Practices (BMP).
- Anthony Forest Products Company will strive to continually improve
our forest management. Also, we will show our commitment to sustainable
forestry by monitoring, measuring, and reporting our performances under
the Sustainable Forestry Initiative Standards.
- Anthony Forest Products Company supports all efforts by state and
local agencies in enforcing timber harvesting procedures that minimize
the potential for timber theft or other unethical forestry practices.
Through the years, we have found that a sound forest policy, which produces
sustainable forestry, has allowed Anthony Forest Products Company to grow
